My granddaughter wanted to swim before we left in the morning. The pool didn't open till 10 AM.
Very very nice front desk employees. Restaurant very good and also wonderful!!
The comfortable bed
I could see almost every car that pulled on the first floor.
I was told I was going to get a double bed with a kitchenette and a separate sitting room. This did not happen.
Very comfortable beds and bedding. Lovely white quilted covers; thankfully no trendy smothering comforters.
Everything was excellent !
No one cleaned our room within our 2 night stay
Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Tile in the tub and shower area was covered with mildew/mold.
Great clean hotel, cont. breakfast would've been great
No bad experience except no cont breakfast
I liked the way the rooms were set up all neat and nice!
I didn't like the fact they didn't have a mini fridge or microwave.
The friendliness of the staff and meatiness of the hotel.
Mostly everything was great!
I did not like the fact that my room did not have a refrigerator!
Very courteous staff and great comfort.
Room had a faint odor of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room.
The rooms were very clean and neatly decorated....nothing overpowering....a nice blend of color to spice up the older furniture. I felt comfortable and slept well. I will stay there again.
This is an older building/hotel which is in need of an real update, for instance in the bathroom older tiles some cracked, a toilet leaking in the rear of it and looking as if it has been doing so for some time, etc. Minor things when not done correctly...just adds up!
The staff at the hotel are very nice and courteous, not necessarily helpful or trustworthy. But definately super nice. The property has been remodeled so it has a nice clean appearance. Not all the work is that great but it is clean and updated. The staff below a supervisory or management level really seem to embrace hospitality in spite of the poor example set by the management that we encountered (particularly Dave and Dennis).
There isn't room to state the wrongs: Summary: We booked a very nice room (described as the Presidential King Suite), they overbooked or whatever charged us the same price for a downgrade (King Parlor) and never disclosed the fact we were downgraded before our arrival. After they caused a plumbing issue they downgraded us again (King Room) lied about the room size and price point. At check out the on duty manager Ms. Craig was not aware of the cover up so did acknowledge the downgrade but still refused me an invoice or receipt stating that billing was done through the booking site which is in no way accurate.
Dining room closed at dinner time. Closed the next day when I tried to get lunch at 2pm. Coffee shop closed when when I went down for coffee, sign said open at 4pm.
